Katie & Bethany's Waterfall Elopement

"Your love pours down like a waterfall, and I can't escape the tide."

Katie and Bethany met over 5 years ago through the magic of the internet and have been inseparable ever since. Although Bethany is in the US Air Force and has to be away from home a lot of the time, their love is strong and powerful, and impossible to ignore. Their journey so far includes 2 precious pups, several moves- including one across the country, matching tattoos, and a proposal on christmas morning in front of the whole family.

This DIY elopement was perfect in every way. The cake was homemade by the photographer, who also arranged the flowers that I picked up from New Seasons, a local grocer that works exclusively with Pacific Northwest growers and farmers. Katie wore a dress from Rent The Runway and Bethany wore an outfit from H&M, with her vintage Levi's jacket. It was cold, wet, and freezing, but the love you feel just from being near them is comparable to the raw force of the rushing water behind them.

When these two are together, they can conquer the world. And when they do, they will celebrate with champagne.
